    Comprehensive technical specification

    With Spanflug you can calculate turning, milling and mill-turning parts from more than 50 materials. If required, you can also include the effort for grinding and more than 20 other post-treatments in the calculation.

    • Part configuration

      • Simply upload a CAD model and optionally a technical drawing. All features relevant for manufacturing (e.g. tolerances, fittings and threads) are automatically detected and considered in the calculation. You can check the data and adjust it if necessary. In the next step you only need to select the material and the quantity and will receive a calculation proposal with one click. You can find more than 50 pre-defined materials and more than 20 post-treatments in our database.

      • Within seconds you will receive a calculation proposal with a detailed breakdown of the estimated costs e.g. for material, programming, setup and manufacturing.

        You can add the calculated part to a quote and export it as csv for further processing e.g. in your ERP-System.

Spanflug Technologies GmbH operates a manufacturing platform for CNC turning and milling parts. Spanflug offers its customers a fully automated procurement process, including everything from price calculation to an online shop for orders. The CNC parts are manufactured exclusively by qualified suppliers in Germany and Austria. Spanflug also offers its calculation software Spanflug Make to CNC manufacturing companies as a cloud-based software-as-a-service solution. The companies can use this to automate their quoting process. Spanflug’s goal is to make the complex procurement process as fast and simple as possible for customers and suppliers – pushing forward digitalization within the manufacturing industry. The company is a spin-off from the Institute for Machine Tools and Industrial Management (iwb) at the Technical University of Munich (TUM). It took part in the Xpreneurs incubator program of the “UnternehmerTUM” start-up network. Spanflug is supported by the Initiative for Industrial Innovators. Since 2020 the VDW (German Machine Tool Builders’ Association) is a shareholder of Spanflug. More information under spanflug.de/en.
